Penguin Booklets

January is a great time to discuss penguins and polar bears.  In fact as cold as its been, I half expect to see one of these cold weather animals out on the playground!

I did a penguin unit and read several books to the children on this topic.  Then I wrote up some facts and let the students be the illustrators.  Here are the pages of one book and the covers of all of their books.  Nice job kids!
