We Love Chicks!

The second graders had three chicks in their room, so they invited us to check them out, since we are a bit bird crazy!  The kids loved them!  I enjoyed listen to the conversation that they had as they described the bird and noticed where the ears were and noticed molting.  Then they got a good close- up look at a bird's feet, beak, wings and feathers.  It was a great learning experience!
